K.P.C. Energy Metering Solutions Ltd. (KPC EMS) is looking for a FIELD AUDITOR for our growing business in the Southern Ontario Region.
This role manages the delivery of project scope and work execution to client handover, ensuring they are delivered on time, to the customer’s expectations, with strict governance of standards and quality.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Check meter installations for any damage or defects to the metering equipment.
• Working with customers, ensuring timely completion, quality control, and a strong safety culture.
• Implementing and maintaining quality control measures to ensure industry standards and specifications as a focal point and reporting specific items to the Project Manager(s) in a timely and effective process.
• Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly, collaborating with respective team members.
• Communicate with Senior Management to clarify the desired outcome of a project.
• Manage relationships with the client and all stakeholders and maintain relationships with vendors/third parties.
• Field environment with travel to job sites for inspections, meetings, training, and other client requests.
• Travelling to each installation location to perform a visual inspection
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU
• Knowledge of residential metering electrical systems is an asset.
• Ability to work alone safely for most tasks.
• Utilizing software for data entry and logging information
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong safety knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and handle unexpected challenges in the field.
• Experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong customer focus with sound interpersonal skills to interact courteously and professionally with customers.
• Good communication skills.
• Valid class G driver’s license with a clean record.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Post-secondary education and/or experience in the related electrical field.
• Experience in metering projects, field service operations, or other relevant areas is an asset.
